International Primary Curriculum (IPC)

The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is a comprehensive, thematic curriculum designed for primary schools. It is based on a global approach to education and focuses on developing students' knowledge, skills, and understanding across subject areas while promoting an international mindset. The IPC aims to make learning engaging, relevant, and meaningful for students by organizing learning around thematic units or "mileposts." These units incorporate different subjects, allowing students to make connections and see the relevance of their learning.

The IPC emphasizes the development of key skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. It encourages students to become active learners, exploring topics, asking questions, and making connections to real-world issues. Both the EYFS and IPC provide holistic approaches to education, focusing on the overall development of children. While the EYFS primarily targets early years settings, the IPC is designed for primary schools.
